Aboriginal Australians


THE ABORIGINES settled the Australian continent more than 40,000 years ago. They lived in total isolation from the rest of the world, present by hunting and gathering. In the 18th century, Europeans arrived, forcibly removing tribals from their territories. Today, many people feel alienated from white society, but still try to preserve their tribal identity.

4,000 years ago near EUPHRATES RIVER, became an ancient settlement near the most spectacular city in the east.
